Nat King ColeI have to admit that I'm not really into jazz much, but there's just something about Nat King Cole's voice. I guess I've liked it ever since I was a kid. My parents had an old Christmas record with him singing on it. Nat King Cole is good to listen to for a change of pace every once in a while.

This compilation includes all of Nat's well-known tunes, such as "Mona Lisa", "Route 66" (which was covered by Depeche Mode), and "Unforgettable". The somewhat eerie duet of the latter with his daughter Natalie is also included. Some of the arrangements are a bit cheesy, especially when the backing vocalists kick in, but it's an enjoyable disc overall. My favorite song here is "You Call It Madness".
